Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum

For the fifth year, the International Winter Festival has been hosting poetry events organized jointly with the Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum.
This year, the main poetic event of the International Winter Festival of Arts in Sochi "Tournament of Poets" will be held on February 23 at 18:00 in the Hall of Organ and Chamber Music named after A. Debolskaya (Kurortny Prospekt, 32).
Eight contemporary poets will perform as part of the Tournament. All of them are authors of major literary magazines, laureates of literary and poetic prizes. This year, the winners of the "Tournament of Poets" and participants of the "Winter School of Poets in Sochi" of previous years will take the stage:

The audience will hear new unpublished poems. Traditionally, in one of the rounds, poems will be performed accompanied by unique musical works created by young composers specially for the Tournament. In the break between the tours, young participants of the "Winter School of Poets in Sochi 2022" will take the stage.
At the end of the Tournament, a professional jury will choose the best of the best.
The jury consists of Dmitry Bak, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities, Director of the Vladimir Dahl Russian State Literary Museum;
Alexander Pipersky, PhD in Philology, Researcher at the HSE School of Philology, Associate Professor at the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian State University;
Alexander Vulykh, writer, translator, journalist and poet, critic, screenwriter, columnist.
The host of the event is Leonid Krasnov, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, actor, director, artistic director of the theater "Theatrical Mansion".
There will also be an audience vote and you will be able to choose your favorite. According to the results of the audience vote, the audience prize will be awarded. The "Tournament of Poets" will be a real gift for all lovers of poetry.
