General information about the Folk Instruments Department

The Folk Instruments Department carries out its activities within the framework of the International Music Academy of the Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi. The Department implements a set of educational events for gifted young musicians - performers on folk instruments, consisting of master classes in the specialty and ensemble art, lessons, lectures by prominent figures in the field of musical art, concert performances.

The Academy is held in order to identify and support creatively promising youth, is an effective form of search, support and development of young talented musicians.

The Academy is held from February 16 to 21, 2022 in Sochi.
The date of arrival in Sochi is February 15, the departure of the participants is February

Andrey Dolgov (ensemble) is a laureate of the III All-Russian Music Competition in the nomination "Conducting an orchestra of Russian folk instruments", artistic director and conductor of the Orchestra of National Instruments "TEREMA" (St. Petersburg), artist of the ensemble "Quintet of Four".
