A piercing solo performance will take place at the Winter Theater on 19 February. The most famous play of world drama will be performed in a new format of a performance-concert performed by Evgeny Mironov and the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia” under the direction of Yuri Bashmet.
Evgeny Mironov was the author of the idea of the performance-concert, for him this is already his third experience of performing Hamlet on stage: the actor worked with the world’s leading directors Peter Stein and Robert Lepage, in the second case he even tried on all the roles of Shakespeare’s tragedy. In the new production by director Marina Brusnikina, he acts as a reader, whose word is dramatically combined with the music of Dmitri Shostakovich.
