Concert description

After a long and protracted war and the ultimate victory over Svyatopolk, the Supreme Kiev prince Yaroslav, who was not yet named «the Wise» for that moment, travels around his possessions for the very first time, greeting its inhabitant and letting them know that a new time has begun.

It is no coincidence that he begins his tour from Vyshgorod, the city where his dead brothers, Boris and Gleb, are buried, and which has always been considered as stronghold of Svyatopolk.

By the Performance, based on the ancient Russian epic about Boris and Gleb, and with the help of music and fantasy scenes of the theater, we want to emphasize that everyone at rest supports alive, and the power of our memory and love for our ancestors makes us stronger, protects us from stupidity and enmity. An unusual set design by Alexei Tregubov will fill the show with a world where reality and unreality come together.

Yaroslav the Wise, who dreamed to avenge the death of his beloved brothers, killed by another brother, in Vyshgorod he meets the forces that are greater than courts and executioners. He meets the love of brothers beyond the threshold of life … and, feeling this Love, he becomes the Supreme Prince, who can love, and rule, and forgive.

As the result all the riots and contradictions will calm down. Peace and Harmony will come.
